After these surveys, I then decided to conduct interviews with contacts in basketball clubs in both Scotland and in France.

My first two interviews were with Yann Lannez, who is a correspondent and coach at Forges Basket, the basketball club of Forges-les Eaux in Seine-Maritime, and with Guillaume Bassard, who plays basketball for BCUS Saint Léonard (87) in his spare time.

Both interviews were conducted over email, so it was good practice translating and understanding what both contacts were sending. After the French interviews, I had a face-to-face interview with Findlay Malcom who is the head of engagement at Blaze Basketball and We Play Together Scotland, and a coach at the club as well. Findlay coaches the basketball sessions that take place at my school so I was able to contact him and conduct the interview easily.
